My post last week talked about how Chris can still be bad despite his age and weight and about him getting up in the cabinet to eat the flavor packet that came with the NomNomNow food. Now that the flavor packet is gone he is still getting up in the cabinet.
I think he was looking for it but when he realized it was no longer there he spied the container of catnip.
Naturally, as a punishment, I gave him some catnip.
This morning I went out for a bit and returned to find the catnip on the counter. I guess he struggled to get it open and then gave up without even trying to hide what he had done.
No relationship to age and badness, but Mom does think ginger boys are a bit more persistent. Cooper Murphy gets on top of every surface in the bedroom and steals anything he can get his paws on. The rest he pushes on the floor. It doesn’t matter how many times he is stopped and removed. And he is teaching Sawyer all his bad habits. If you come up with a solution, please let us know. We have two gingers and I think Frankie has learned from Chris.
Well, that’s what you get for giving him nip for his bad behavior. π
I’m a sucker.
He’s relying on his cuteness and personality to get him off the hook. π
ou have to use what you have. π
Chris is so fun. π
He is a trip.
Nice try, buddy. Sometimes being naughty can be very rewarding. Your dad might have to start kitty-proofing the house so you don’t get into something dangerous… Once I climbed on a chair and ate one of Mom’s pills. ASPCA Poison Control charged her $75 and told her to induce vomiting. It wasn’t pretty. Or fun.

I’m glad you are ok. I have the bathroom cabinet childproofed but most cabinets are not dangerous, just annoying.
I’m glad to know that Chris has not mellowed TOO much!
I am too. I actually want Chris to be Chris.
I think Chris just can’t help himself…..he’s your proverbial curious cat. My ginger boy’s only naughty “thing” is asking to outside on his harness CONSTANTLY. He loves being outside and it can be a bit tough to do other things when we have him whining at the front door! HAPPY SUNDAY.
Hugs, Pam
I used to rt that from Frankie constantly until we built the catio. Now it’s easy to just open the door and let him out.
Oh dear, Iβd never even try to get away with such tomfoolery here. Dad might let things slide, but mom would certainly never tolerate my getting into cabinets and such.
It’s funny how dad’s seem to be more casual about that. π
dood….sew…..if we come over two yur houz N bee bad… we will get sum primo
nip two !! π β₯β₯
That’s right. π
I think badness is cute, Chris π Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead π β€
I think so too.
