Lately, it seems that I have been constantly cleaning up kibble from around the cat food bowls. I have seen our cat Floki pull it out of the bowl with his paw on occasion but I have never seen such laziness from a cat while eating like I did in the video below.

This is pretty much SOP for some off us. There’s usually more food on the mat under the bowl than in the bowl. Lily also likes to dip when she is drinking and then lick the water off of her paw. Our water and food are on the same mat so I often find kibble in the water.
I wish Cody would eat more like Floki (that is too cute!) Cody INHALES his food!
I once had a doberman that would eat an entire can of dog food in two bites.
Lazy? I think it is ingenious of him!

He is young but he is also a spoiled house cat.
He’s eating in the manner of the ancient Romans – while lounging in comfort on the floor…..although they at least did it on cushions! Why stand when you can relax! HAHA

I thought all cats ate that way at one time or another. He’s showing you how smart he is. My Daisy Mae pulls out her dish to where she wants and eats her food. She doesn’t lay down yet.
