Reminds me of the one and only time Sammy climbed a tree….he was a little kitten and someone had let their dog loose a couple of doors down from us and she came flying over into our yard and chased Sammy up the tree. He wouldn’t budge. David had to get his HUGE extending ladder to go up and retrieve him. Teddy shows no inclination to climb – but he likes to sharpen his claws on tree bark!

A pitbull once got a new center neighborhood and chased my cat Vinny and a neighbor’s cat up a tree. I can’t link to it now but if you search for Casper you’ll find the story.
