A couple of weeks ago we were concerned because Frankie’s left eye was dilated (see here). His eye slowly got better so I am not as concerned now that Chris has the same problem. That does not mean I am not concerned at all, especially since Chris has been a bit lethargic lately. I will have to monitor him closely. A vet visit may be in order but since Chris has never been injected with chemicals like steroids and antibiotics, I would like to keep his system clean, which won’t happen if a vet sees him.
Hugs to you Chris, we hope you can chase that infection away soon even without the big bombs from the vet…
We hope so too. Thanks Easy.
A strange thing really……..even though Frankie’s eye slowly got better, something must be causing it……and it would be nice to know what even without any kind of shots being given and only a diagnosis. Hope Chris’ eye gets better soon.
Pam
Thanks. I think, maybe, the eye infection is causing swelling which pinches the nerve that controls dilation. I may not be a vet but I am good at making stuff up.
I hope Chris gets better like Frankie did!
Thanks. I think it’s the same problem so hopefully he will be fine.
I hope Chris heals fast, and no trips to the vet are necessary.
Thanks Summer.
We hope Chris’s eye is better real soon.
Thanks.
Poor Chris, I will be praying he recovers quickly.
Thank you.
eeek…something nasty seems to be traveling through your clowder. Hoping Chris’s eye heals soon!
Thanks. I wish it would leave us already.
