Chris never had a problem getting on top of the china cabinet when he was younger but a few years and a few extra pounds have made it impossible without my help. I guess it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Floki needs my help to get up there and he is only two.
HA! Chris needs help for a reason but I think Floki has figured out that his personal elevator ride (aka YOU) is available so why bother getting up there on his own! LOL
Pam
I guess that makes me an enabler. 🤔
Or maybe it makes you a human elevator?
I think both.
Is gravity enough of an ‘assist’ for them to get back down on their own?
Gravity and a soft sofa. 🙂
That would help, wouldn’t it?!?
Yes but Floki hasn’t discovered the sofa and cries for me to help him down.
And you’re happy to assist, correct?
Of course. 🙂
Maybe you should put something next to it that will help them get up there… some sort of midway perch.
Nah, they just want you to do it for them.
I like it when they ask for help. Puck used to silently “talk” to me and I knew that he wanted help.
Awww, it’s nice that you help them get to their favorite spots. They do need a little assistance as they get older.
I think it is more weight than age.
You mean you help them up there? No way would the mom do that for us.
Your mom is not a pushover like I am.
Did that sweet little cat in Florida cat adopted out of the family that was trying to get someone to take him? What happened?
I talked about two cats that needed homes. The young Siamese cat was adopted by a veterinarian and the very affectionate cat I saw at PetSmart was not there two days later when my wife decided she wanted him.
