I am here with Floki at the vet for the first time in quite a while. I had been taking him to a nearby groomer that went out of business to get his nails trimmed but now the only place that will do it nearby is the vet. I figured it wouldn’t hurt for him to get a checkup while we’re here.
We haven’t seen the vet yet so I have nothing to report but I’m sure he’s fine.
Floki! Does he fight with the strength of ten angry bears when he’s being manicured?
That is exactly what he does. That’s why we can’t trim his nails or anything else.
We hope the pawdicure goes as planned and that the check up gets an A+

I hope he got a good report! My husband and I trim our five cats’ nails–but it is definitely a two-person job!
We can trim Frankie’s but Floki is a tornado.

I don’t know what their standard charge is. The trim was a courtesy because of all the other charges. I’ll write more about it this weekend.
Well, he looks reasonably calm to me. JUNE is a total terror, so much so that groomers and vets are avoided until necessary and then she is medicated to get there, get it done, sigh. Can Floki give lessons, a podcast or such, on decent behavior …

He has issues with his teeth and ears.
Most pets end up with some dental issues and need a good cleaning once in a while, same with ears. I hope Floki’s were easy to deal with and I’m looking forward to more details when you decide to post them.
