This squirrel bravely came onto the sidewalk after Frankie walked outside to start his walk. Frankie looked at him momentarily, then turned and walked away from the squirrel.

It seemed unusual, since Frankie used to love chasing squirrels, but perhaps he is so used to seeing them outside the screen that he doesn’t find them interesting anymore.

I bet the squirrel was grateful that Frankie wasn’t in the mood for a chase!
Hugs, Pam
Those squirrels have become very bold. Maybe he was used to seeing the cats through the screen and felt safe.
Does he have some sort of ombré tail? It sort of fades away as you go higher up.
I hadn’t noticed that. Perhaps it was moving when the shot was taken and the shutter speed was too slow to capture it.
Maybe the squirrel knew Frankie was on a leash.
We suspect you are right … nothing exciting about the squirrels anymore. Frankie is looking for a bigger and more exciting adventure. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali
That was a brave squirrel. 🙂
Brave but not very smart. He was lucky Frankie was uninterested.
HA! Maybe Frankie knew it was his friend.
He’s probably seen him through the screen a thousand times.
That is funny, if it had been us pups, petcretary would have had to visit the ER for a dislocated shoulder, LOL!
😁
Some cats just chase, some only chase if the tummy is empty. Maybe he was still full from breakfast and wasn’t ready for lunch.
I think he was used to seeing the squirrel through the screen and had lost interest.
Frankie! Wisdom comes with age, eh?
I must be very wise then. 😊
