That’s a great flashback! Our situation with Teddy is the same as it was back then – when we go on vacation next month Ted will be in the “suite” at the cat hotel run by the nuns……He knows them very well and they know him and Ted is spoiled rotten there so he’s happy we’re gone. HAHA

I’m glad you found a place where Teddy is treated well.
We used to get the neighbor kid or one of our kids after they were grown and moved out to come take care of the cats on the rare occasion it was needed. All of the kid in the neighborhood who would come around knew our cats and the cats knew them.
If we had to travel now, we’d have to board the cats.
We have a professional cat sitter near us but it is costly. My wife is trying to get our former neighbor and cat sitter to stay at our house for a week when we go on a cruise in December.
