Aww, Frankie’s voice is so gorgeous! I love how Chris was hovering too, as if to say, “Yeah, go on, bro. You tell ‘em!”
Frankie knows how to talk to get what he wants.
June is not an “outsider” but does meow relentlessly nearing mealtime, not so odd maybe as her original name was Chowder! And nearing mealtime to her is around an hour before … if ignored she then goes to attention-getting habit no.2 … go scratch on what I am not supposed to scratch on. SIGH.
We get something similar from Floki when he’s hungry or needing attention.
Cute! I’ve always been amused by Teddy’s voice – as we all know he’s HUGE but he has a squeaky little voice like a tiny kitten. It’s cute enough though that he gets what he wants! LOL It works! Frankie makes it plain what he has in mind too………
Hugs, Pam
Floki has a squeaky voice, too. Sometimes I call him Squeaky. 🙂
Outside seemed to be a necessity!
It is for Frankie.
I’m sure the method works well. A friend whose cat loved her twice daily harness walks (with certain people to visit depending on time of day) used to ring a small bell tied to a rope on the doorknob to let them know she was ready.
I could not do that with Frankie. I would hear nothing but the bell all day.
Have to keep this away from my daughter’s cat, Onyx. When my daughter was here, Onyx almost never left her room. I guess she’s given up on her human returning. Now she hangs out on the inside porch and tries to get out every chance she gets. She’s never lived outside and only weighs about 5 pounds. She wouldn’t stand a chance against the raptors or coyotes.
We have dogs off leashes around here which is a problem. We also have stray cats but I think they are more cautious than a cat like Frankie would be.
