Yes, they don’t always make the jump, and when they come down, it’s with claws out to catch whatever they can, including us. I’ve also watched our cats roll off of surfaces they were sleeping on.
Gypsy is definitely our most graceful cat. However, one time she tried jumping from the mantel to the oscillating fan. She hit her target, but the fan wasn’t strong enough for 7 pounds of accelerating feline. She was fine; we have a new fan.

They have their ups and downs (!) just like humans…..I think I’ve known more klutzy people then cats though….teehee Happy 4th!
