I took Frankie for a walk several days after the dog attack. Here he is enjoying the flowers at the side of our house.

I brought along protection just in case we needed it.

The photo was taken nine days ago. The last time we were here in West Virginia, I set a personal record for most consecutive daily posts. This time, after renting our house for three and a half years, there is a list of things to do a mile long. I barely have time to read other people’s posts, much less write my own. It seems every time I finish something on the list, two more things get added.

I’m sure it’s not easy after 3 years of tenants!!! Hopefully soon the to do list won’t have any BIG projects only little ones that aren’t urgent. Meanwhile glad to see you and Frankie enjoying the garden and a cruise around outside post-dog attack. Glad you are “armed and ready”…….
Hugs, Pam
Thanks. I’m sure it will get better, but I don’t yet see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Glad you had a pleasant walk this time. I can only imagine how many projects you have after being away for so long.
It’s best not to think about it. 🙂
I hope you never have to use that dog spray.
Me too.
Good idea to be prepared, but sad you must do so.
Yeah, this place is very different from our Florida home where most dogs are smaller than our cats.
has the dog been spotted again ? wonder if he went after anyone else besides you and the other neighbor ….hopefully…not
My wife and I saw him outside, without a leash, with his owner. He didn’t come from the house kitty-corner to us but the house behind that house.
THAT’S THE JOYS OF AN OLD HOUSE, CHUCK. OUR HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1912, AND THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. HAPPY YOU AND FRANKIE GOT TO TAKE ANOTHER WALK, AND THAT YOU NOW HAVE SOMETHING TO PROTECT YOURSELVES. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
Thanks. This house was built in 1900. Our house in Florida was built in 1964, I think, but it is much smaller. Less to go wrong.
It’s a busy season, we all have them.
i’m glad you were able to ealk Frankie.
Thanks.
Very wise to bring protection.
I figured better safe than sorry.
Wow. I hadn’t realized it had been that long since you posted from there. Frankie looks happy. It’s probably a little more temperate their than in Florida
We have hot days here but I think it’s a little less humid.
