We adopted Floki on the Fourth of July 2016. This post was from August 22 of that year. I didn’t remember how long our cats had dealt with illnesses after Floki’s adoption.

I’ve only had multiple cats twice in my life and both times I guess I was lucky enough never to have a “pass around” health situation arise with the gang. It must be very concerning when that happens though – fortunately you dealt with it quickly – letting your vet tend to them as needed. The “pass around” thing happens with people AND animals…..if only we could eliminate all the BAD stuff in our world!
Hugs, Pam
That would be nice. Like viruses. I can’t think of a reason why we need them.
It is hard when sickness goes through the crew.
It sure is.
It’s way no fun when kids or pets are spreading the sicknesses around over and over again. A friend always called them “little bundles of contagion.”
Some of those viruses can be bad news for everyone.
Whoa, that was a scary time.and when we had three cats at the same time, mostly though we only had two…sometimes a URI would make the rounds…
The more beasties and humans that cohabitate, the bigger the chance of a germ factory going into business.
That is usually true but I don’t remember having those problems when we had six cats.
Having multiple cats is like having multiple kids. It just keeps moving and mutating.
It’s not easy.
