Ripple Rug Review

A couple of months ago, I saw a video for a product called Ripple Rug. In the video, the cats were having a wonderful time going in and out of all the holes and crevices. After my wife saw the video, she agreed that we should order one from Chewy. So, we paid the forty-six dollars and waited with anticipation.

When it arrived a few days later I couldn’t wait to watch our cats enjoying such a unique product.

Floki was interested right away… in the box.

He did eventually investigate it for a few seconds but never tried to enter one of the little holes. Frankie’s level of interest could only be compared to his interest in toothpaste.

I let it sit for a few days, with neither of our cats showing any interest. Now, it is folded and waiting for us to bring it to West Virginia, where I will try again before throwing it out.

That is not to say this is a bad product. I’m sure many cats would have a ball with it. Just not our cats.

I have bought several things I thought my cats would like, but they have never shown much interest in them, so I really appreciate this review.

Teddy has a good idea about kittens. Maybe you could donate it to a shelter instead of just pitching it. Sorry it didn’t work out.

It is impossible to predict what our cats will take a liking to. If Floki and Frankie decide they really have no interest, we suggest donating to a shelter. That’s what we usually do. It looks wonderful, amazing and one has to think: what’s not to like? But that’s a human question … so many, some costly, others not … things for June have gone on to live with “other cats”, sigh. She still returns to her boxes and paper tents, egg cartons and leftover scraps of cloth … oh for the $$$ that could have gone into savings. The last laugh is on us, the paw parents!

Maybe it needs some enhancement such as treats or some powerful silvervine or catnip! You could donate it to a shelter, where there just MIGHT be some kitty who would have fun with it.
