Here is a post from July 2016, when Floki was still a kitten, and Chris’s tail was another toy to play with. I bet it was hard for Chris to switch roles from annoyer to annoyee.

Yep – swishing tails are a great toy for youngsters – I think that’s why that cat toy that has a moving “tail” that sticks out from under cover and moves around is such a BIG HIT. Fun to watch but maybe not so much fun for the cat with the tail being chased!
Hugs, Pam
Our cats used to have a toy like that.
Oh yes, that’s so very hard to resist!
🙂
You grow up, having a kid (or someone springs a kitten on you), and suddenly it’s all different!
Those young ones can be challenging.
That was so cute! Poor chris, he really wanted to be just all alone in his sunpuddle.
That can’t happen with a kitten around.
Oh dear, Floki didn’t see the “Don’t make me get up!” warning look and paw!
Kittens don’t understand that yet.
They understand perfectly well. But they just ignore it because they think their cuteness will see them through. 🤣🤣🤣
They are right. 😁
Wow. Chris is a lot more patient than any of our cats would have been. It looks like he didn’t really get annoyed until Floki started batting at his foot
I was impressed with Chris. He always treated Floki like his son.
