Frankie has always been fascinated by squirrels. I think he likes how easily they climb trees and wants to be just like them.
The other day he jumped up onto a tree in our yard.

I had to hold Frankie back from climbing higher into the tree.

The next day he was at it again. This time he chose a tree in the vacant lot in front of our house. Technically, the front of our house is the side opposite the driveway.

I hope he doesn’t escape at our new home, or we may have to call the fire department to get him out of a tree.

Frankie, where are you? We only see a squirrel climbing up that huge tree😺😺Double Pawkiss for a Safe and Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
😊
He will keep the neighbors entertained!
No doubt.
Looks like he’s making himself at home in the new place
It’s like nothing has changed.
I hope Frankie doesn’t go too high. I just watched a video of a cat that was trapped on the top of a big tree for 6 days. No one could get it down. Finally one brave cat rescuer guy climbed up and go it.
I worry about that if he gets out.
Oh Frankie, be careful! Squirrels have slasher claws which could cause some damage. Le Roi has often engaged in combat with them and has been lucky that they haven’t considered him worth pursuing.
I have not seen squirrels fighting. I do know they are smart.
Don’t go too high, F. Let’s face it, cat-stuck-in-a-tree has been done to death. Don’t be that guy.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
😊
Looks like he had a fun time.
He always does
No escaping Houdini Frankie…maybe you need to watch Squirrel-TV inside LOL!
I think that would be better.
That really looks like a GREAT climbing tree – has three directions you can go from where he’s sitting – oh the adventures up in the trees! BUT the fire department wouldn’t be as amused as we all are about getting him down again I’m quite sure. LOL Frankie The Explorer will need to be earth-bound on those walks.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
He is almost 14 years old. When will he slow down?
Well that boy of yours has always been a ball of fire……active, curious, etc. Sammy was almost 18 when he passed away and really didn’t do what I would call “slowing down” until the last year. Hopefully Chris has TONS more exploring to do!!
Pam
Hey, look ma! I’m a squirrel!
He did get out, and he is a very bad boy!
Yes, he is.
What absolutely marvelous photos of Frankie. He is a rascal. And we are certain he is enjoying his new yard and neighborhood and just wants to explore everything and everywhere. We do hope, however, that he never needs to be rescued. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
Thanks. He did escape once and ended up in the tree but we were able to get him out of it before he climbed any higher.
That tree was just begging for a kitty climb onto it!! Looks loike Frankie took the bait!
He sure did. 😊
