When we moved back to Florida, Chris’s talent for opening doors flourished.

He also like being high up in the air.

One of the cute things he did was hang out with Rose while she got ready in the morning and put her makeup on.

Next time I’ll talk about his lizard catching ability.

He was a guy of many talents! I have always loved his insistence on being “his own man” – on walks, at home, whenever and wherever he knew what he wanted and went for it. Gotta admire that – and I did. BIG personality was what that boy had………
Hugs, Pam
You knew Chris well. 😊
Betcha Celestial Chris is wreaking havoc at the Rainbow Bridge!
I wish I could see that. 😊
He was a mancat among mancats! That’s what he was! And while I have Katie to help me put y face on each morning (she always gets brushies after that) she doesn’t take quite the interest that Chris had in Rose’s time at the counter. He was monitoring application…Katie just wants me to be done so she can get her brushies.
I think every cat has their own unique routine.
Chris was quite the character.
He was very special and unique.
Chris opened the door for your guests? What a guy! 😹 He looks so cute sitting in that basket–like he belongs there. Why yes, he does!
Yeah, Chris did a lot of cute things.
Chris truly was the cabinet master!
He sure was. 😊
We love the one with the door!
He could be quite entertaining.

He was pretty skinny back then.
Chris was certainly 1 in a million! The videos and photos are priceless – they gave me a well needed laugh.
My deepest condolences Charles and Rose. I know you are both hurting, but that little fella sure gave you a lot of joy and fun!
I enjoyed reading about him (and the rest of your gang).
thanks for sharing him with us!!!
Thanks so much. We were lucky to find Chris.
My Ollie loves to do that. He will open any door he can get his paw in. Who is the other orange kitty beside him? Black cat is Puck, right?
I always trained my cats not to get on counters & or cabinets. Ollie changed that a bit. He does like to hop on bathroom cabinets to drink water. So, both bathrooms have dripping faucets for him. He is not allowed to jump on anything in the kitchen.
The other orange cat is Tigger.
Ah! And, Tiggers are wonderful things!
Ours was. 🙂
Hello Chris’ family,
We are so sorry for your loss which we just learnt from Ingrid. Thank you for sharing many precious moment. He’ll be missed.

Thanks very much.
Chris was such a clever boy. I enjoyed these videos and photos.
Thanks. I’m glad I have them.
He had a real fear of missing out. And he was so cute, he got away with it. 🙂
He got away with a lot. 😊
That ability to pull on door handles is amazing. One orange tabby at the shelter, Sydney, was able to do that and he’d let himself and his colony roomies out every night until we blocked the door with a chair. We even got a plaque to go on the chair, “Sydney’s Chair” and after he was adopted, the chair is still around as a reminder.
Cats are amazingly smart.
From breaking into cabinets and closets and enjoying being high up, my Roary actually reminds me of Chris. He is ALWAYS getting into something. I think Chris was highly intelligent and Roary is too, it’s the intelligent ones that get into all of the trouble!
I’m sure you are right about that.
