I’ve mentioned before that I think a Dogface Puffer is the coolest fish you can have in your aquarium. Here is a picture I took the other day of one who had wedged himself into the decorations and was just lying there watching us.
Many of these fish will do a little dance to get people’s attention. I think it is their way of trying to get fed. Most will also let me pet them. Yesterday I had to move a large puffer out of the corner so I could clean the glass. I gently put my hand around him and moved him out of the way. Most other fish would freak out if I tried that.

The clownfish are mean. They bite me all the time. Fortunately they have no teeth.

Puffer fish are my favourite animals after cats. There’s a Japanese (I think) one, who builds huge, intricate sand sculptures on the sea bed, just to impress girls.
Who wouldn’t be impressed by that?
