This is a post from July of 2016. Chris wore me down and I gave up on weaning him off dry food. I try to keep it to a minimum, but he still gets his kibble.

I win either way on the food issue with Ted – he likes wet AND dry. Breakfast is wet and dinner is dry.
Hugs, Pam
Chris will eat some of his wet food but usually he gives up early on it.
I have found that if I add MORE water to Ted’s wet food after he’s eaten a little of it – he will eat MORE of it – he prefers soupy wet food!
There’s an idea.
HA! That really was “the look” if I ever saw one!
🙂
If “I want what I want when I want it” applies to any creature, it’s a cat, especially when it wants a certain kind of food.
We also have a cat that wants to go for a walk and can be very annoying until he gets what he wants.
Yeah, he looks like he’s not eaten for months. Ahem. 😬
🙂
Sgt Stripes doesn’t like wet food. I’ve gotten him to eat wet treats, but that’s about it.
Dry food can be addicting.
