A fight between Frankie and Floki is a regular occurrence at our house. Mostly, Floki is the instigator. I don’t think there is animosity. I just think Floki wants to play.
How common is this at your house?

We only have the one, but Catorze would absolutely pick a fight with himself if he could.
That’s too funny.
The youngest of my brood is the bully. Pumpkin watches one of the other cats just a minute too long and I know it’s coming. Pow! Pow! Pow! Three blows from her left paw and her work here is done.
I loved the little meows from Floki and the paw on the bed. Before the cat fight. Cats are the greatest amusement.
There was a lot of meowing going on from Floki before I started filming.
Ollie is not much of a fighter. The house he came out of had seven other cats, with an alpha female the used Ollie as a target. She damaged his ear.
He is just a big, tubby baby.
We had plenty of those in the past.
My boys do that quite often.
I want to say it’s common in boys, but we once had two females that would go at it.
That was some good smackdown!
🙂
Floki is such a little brat!
He sure is.
Always good to see what the neighbours do. Things around here are generally done outdoors and take the form of a spaghetti western-style standoff.
ERin
I saw that happen with outside cats so I know what you mean.
Being an “only” in my house means I only have fights with my catnip toys!!
Hugs, Teddy
Floki has fights with those too.
Winner take all. Whatever that may be. (though it does not seem there was a winner here … or was there?)
I don’t know if there was a winner but Frankie did withstand the challenge.
I think Floki just wants to play as well. They aren’t being mean.
Yes. Floki likes to play rough.
It appears that Frankie was not in a playful mood. 🙂
No. Not on that day.
