Very often Chris will poke my legs with his claws because he wants me to pick him up and put him on my lap while I am sitting at the computer. If I am on the sofa he will do the same thing so I will pick him up and put him on the sofa. I know he is pretending to be feeble because when nobody is around he has no trouble getting up on his cat perch.


Yep – they always enjoy playing the “I can’t do it myself I need help” thing just to keep us on our toes!

Roary does that with our baby gate A LOT! He is perfectly capable of jumping over it (and has a zillion times!), but if I am in the vicinity, he will sit outside the gate and stare at me for however long it takes me to open the gate door to let him through. He’s soooooooo lazy!
That is not lazy, I call that energy efficient 😉
