Lately, Frankie has been napping a lot on top of a crate that we keep in the cat’s room. That used to be Chris’s crate as he would spend a lot of time inside it or on top of it, but Chris now naps in his cat bed on the living room floor.
Recently, Frankie puked on the pad that was on top of the crate and I had to remove it in order to wash it. While it was in the wash, I took a cat bed that nobody uses and put it on the crate. I then noticed that Frankie had pushed the bed off the crate and was lying on top of the crate with just a towel to buffer the wires and handle connected to the top. I let him be since he was sleeping but a little while later I saw him lying on the cat bed.
Before I knew it he was back on the crate.
And then back on the bed again.
Cats can really be funny sometimes.
Sometimes it’s tough to get comfortable I guess….kind of like the equivalent of humans tossing and turning when they can’t get comfy while sleeping! He looks content in BOTH places.
Cats do like to change it up all the time.
He just doesn’t want anyone telling him what to do. 🙂
Just like everyone else.
Our very first cat, Skooter, was very strange about where he slept. Exactly every two weeks he would move to a new spot and stay in that spot for two weeks, etc., etc…… Frankie does look most comfy after you fixed up the top of the crate. As our mom likes to say, “Cats are predictably unpredictable.” XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
Our cats change habits a lot but not on a predictable schedule.
I guess he couldn’t get comfy. That is too funny. 🙂
Oh, they know what they like, where they like it and when they like it!
Yes, they do. Even if we don’t understand it.
