Sometimes when I take Frankie for a walk he finds a tree to use as a scratching post.

I think it’s great when he does that because a real tree is what nature intended cats to scratch on. I wish I could put a real tree inside our house. Then, maybe, the cats would actually scratch where they are supposed to.
Ted does that too – on our oak trees. I have the same reaction – wish I could just bring in a piece of firewood and let him use it “as nature intended” !!
Hugs, Pam
At least you take him outside a lot, although I imagine that will slow down in the winter.
dood….eazee peezee…dad CAN putz a reel tree in de houz….just cut a hole
in de roof 😉 ♥♥
🙂
Purchase one of the cat trees that I have from Pet Tree Houses LLC (they are pricey but WORTH it!) they use REAL TREE BARK! Just like a real tree!!! We have had ours about 7 years and it’s still great!
I’ll have to look into that.
I think you should get him a real tree for inside!
Maybe next year I’ll get a real Christmas tree and cut off the branches at the bottom three feet. 🙂
That is a great idea.
I think scratching on a real tree IN THE HOUSE would be amazing!
Me too.
They’ll still use your furniture, LOL. 🙂 😉
No doubt. 🙂
