Here is another post from 2014 for Throwback Thursday. Back then Frankie and Chris pretty much ignored the vacuum. Nothing has changed since then except it is now Floki instead of Puck who runs and hides when the vacuum comes out. Does anyone else have a pet not bothered by the vacuum?
Every time I clean the house, I canβt help being amazed at Chris and Frankieβs total lack of fear of the vacuum cleaner. I have shared videos like this in the past but, at the risk of beating a dead horse, I would like to share one more.
That is amazing…………Teddy does NOT like the vacuum cleaners – we have a vacuum cleaner on the top floor and the main floor (so we don’t have to drag them up and down stairs!) and Teddy knows when it’s cleaning day. Smart boy stays in the basement until the noise dies down! Your boys are just more tolerant than Ted will EVER be!
Hugs, Pam
Teddy years more like Floki or like Puck used to be. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think that’s the norm.
This was funny. Teemu (RIP) used to sleep while we vacuumed, so we just went around him. Pumpkin (my almost 1-year old) used to run, but I think she watched my other two cats and decided the vacuum was harmless. All three cats just sit and almost dare us to vacuum their spot.
It seems that is more common than I thought.
doodz….all we gotta due iz SEE de eeeevil vizshuz masheen come outta wher ever it livez N we head for cover π β₯β₯

All my cats stay away from our noisy vacuum cleaner. I don’t blame them. Even I find it too loud. π
I’m not a big fan of the vacuum either. π
We pretty much steer clear of the vacuum here!
I wish I could. π
Rumpy is the same way. He moves if he is actually bumped with the vac but otherwise… Meh. Our Angel Buddy Budd was the same way. Me I am Outta There MOL
Our cats are one or the other as well. There’s no in between.
Louis Catorze is more offended than afraid. He will scream at whoever is vacuuming to shut up, or alternatively just roll his eyes in disgust.
I think I like him more and more everyday. π
That’s astonishing! No cats I’ve ever known would keep their cool that way!
Somehow we ended up with cats that are not normal. π
