This was the first photo taken using my first digital SLR (a Canon Rebel XT) that I got on my birthday, July 9, 2005. It is Abbey on our fish tank with her brother, Alex, watching her.

It is not perfect, technically, but I thought it was still worth sharing. What do you think?
sounds like a plan, we would love to go fishing with you!
We would love to have you.
Good shot – it looks like Abbey is trying to figure out how she can help herself to some sushi without falling in!
Hugs, Pam
I think that is exactly what she is doing. 🙂
uz fish loverz heer think thiz rox !!! 😉 ♥♥
I bet you do. 😁
Those sweeties look mighty cute.
They sure were.
Any photo that brings back good memories is a good photo.
I totally agree.
Great shot! We hope no fish were harmed. 😉
Maybe just a little freaked out.
They were cuties.
Thanks. They sure were.
My human STILL hasn’t graduated to a DSLR! MOL
Really? She does amazingly well with what she has, then. I would recommend a DSLR partly because the RAW files make it easier to edit.
Did she catch anything?
Sadly, all the fish in the tank or out of season.
Photo is purrfect to me and fishing is purrfect too…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday🐾😽💞
Thanks. 🙂
Of course, it is worth sharing 🙂 I sometimes do that too. It might be that we didn’t shot technically perfect back then or that the quality of cameras was worse… but, old photos are still memories.
I didn’t know you had fish tanks back then. That was once one of my hobbies too. I had two tanks back then but gave up on the hobby when the last fish died (I stopped to add new fishes at some point).
Having fish was interesting. I can no longer remember what happened with those fish.
