During my walks with Frankie, we spend a lot of time doing things that don’t include walking.
Usually he will stop to roll in the grass but this time the sidewalk was a good substitute.

Ted enjoys a good sidewalk or driveway “roll” too……I think that warm surface feels good maybe?!

That could be. Chris rolls in the driveway all the time but Frankie usually picks the grass or dirt.
That’s the thing when walking your cat! I used to see parts of my neighborhood I never saw before walking my cat, and sometimes had to let him go ahead without me till I could link up with him around the corner when he started take me places that surely would get neighbors to call the police! (Under bedroom windows, specifically….) Of course, if we met another cat, we had to spend a few minutes while they sorted out territorial issues or just caught up on cat news.
Seeing your posts about walking your cats brings back some really fine memories!
That’s true. I walk places I would never go on my own.
Street napping should always be part of the “walk” process….

Oh Frankie is so cute on his walking leash…he looks like he’s going to work for the city in those bright neon colors! He’s so lucky to have such a nice daddy who takes him for walks.
