Our new place has very large window in the front that is almost as wide as the entire room, minus the front door and goes all the way down to the floor. The cats love it and I often see Chris and Puck looking out that window.

When we moved in, one of the movers noticed a very upset bird and saw the reason for it. She had a nest in the bush right next to the front door, about eighteen inches from the window. In the nest was one egg, which later became two.

The bird is some type of dove, although I am not a bird expert. I do enjoy looking out the window and seeing her sitting on her eggs. Fortunately the cats have not yet noticed her but I think that will change when there are hatchlings in the nest.
