Throwback Thursday: Group Nap

This post from December 2016 shows three of our four cats napping together. The shocking part is Chris isn’t one of the three.

I think most times when people have multiple cats, the cats get along well and FEEL like they are part of a family of cats AS WELL AS part of the humans’ family. When you have an “only” cat they tend to become incredibly attached to their human OR retreat into solitude. Cats have a huge range of feelings and form all kinds of bonds. I have always found that totally fascinating – the interesting thing is that it is something humans do as well……guess that’s why we get along so well with them!! Sweet flashback.

    Hugs, Pam

That was a nice flashback image!

When I had three cats for a short while, it actually was rare to see them all together, let alone napping close to eachother. The boys would snuggle and Suki the ladycat would go somewhere else. I have one image where all three are looking out the window at the neighbor’s cat who decided to wander over here and trespass…we didn’t have a fence or dogs at that time.

Snoops and Kommando slept together all of the time. Sgt Stripes and Gypsy do it once in a while, We do not have an extremely close family of cats. (Snoops never forgave Sgt Stripes for chasing Kommando into the basement the first time they met. She had to jump on Sarge to get him to back off.)
