Reminds me of the old joke “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine” ! When I had multiple cats it was generally a free for all when meal time came around – they worked things out so nobody starved though! LOL

Since we’ve gotten the extra cats, I’ve noticed that there is a tendency for some of the cats to finish off the food of those who leave early before they finish their own.
That’s The way it should be but is seems they think the food in another bowl is better than theirs
A friend of mine has the same trouble, and when she goes out of town and I’m pet-sitting, it’s worse because some of them won’t eat for me until the 3rd or 4th day when they realize it’s me or nothing.
