Something changed a little over a month ago. Look at the photo below and see if you can tell what’s different?

Did you figure it out? They are all wearing collars now. Specifically, they are wearing Seresto collars.

My wife always pushed to have flea medication put on our cats, but I resisted because I thought putting poison on a cat might not be healthy. I was usually able to extend the treatment to once every two months or so but then one of them would scratch an itch and we would suddenly need to prepare for Armageddon. Finally, someone told my wife about Seresto flea collars, and she was all in. My boss also uses them, and she agreed that they are a great product.
Since our cats never wore collars (except during moves) I wasn’t sure how they would react to them, but they accepted the collars without much complaining. They are not cheap, $81 for two collars, but they last eight months. Our other flea treatment was way more expensive, even when used only every other month.
Does anyone else use Seresto? What do you think about them?

I have not tried them. My cats never go out so I don’t want to put poison on them for nothing.
I don’t like it but Frankie and Chris both go outside sometimes.
No collars here either, they would have a hissy fit!
They seem okay with it here.
We have not tried the collars, but if we ever need to, it’s nice to know from someone who uses them that they really do work well.
I don’t know how well they work but they were recommended.
Teddy (or Sammy before him) never had fleas. At least not yet. I have a feeling though that Ted wouldn’t like having to wear a collar. Hope they work well for your gang. I do remember when I lived in Florida that my two cats at the time wore collars – fleas were rampant down there!
Hugs, Pam
I don’t know for sure, but I imagine having cold winters could keep the flea population down.
As with the others above, June is only an indoor cat (and up so high) that fleas are not an issue. But if ever asked by a friend would now suggest these as so many I know fight against those ‘freeloaders’ with their pets …
My wife runs apartment communities and often they will enter a unit that is infested with fleas.
Sorry, haven’t used flea collars on Da Boyz.
Hope they work out; this is info to have for the future.
Hopefully you won’t need it.
Catorze is probably too small for a collar 🤣🤣🤣 but we give him Felpreva which covers worms, ticks and fleas for a three-month period.
The collars are adjustable but don’t know how small they get.
We only use natural homeopathic remedies, they work best for us😸😸Double Pawkisses for a Happy day too all of you🐾😽💞
I do that, too. I sprinkle diatomaceous earth on their beds. Unfortunately, I need to give in to my wife sometimes.
