I’m glad they mostly stayed close and you were able to find Frankie. We’re blessed the only cat which really wants out is the one who was semi-feral when we got her. She knows her way around and is 18 now and never leaves the porch except to nibble grass.
None of our cats seem to be particularly interested in going outside. It’s just as well. It’s pretty rural where we live, and there aren’t any sidewalks. I can’t imagine tracking them down in the woods next door.

That is what Chris is like now at fifteen. Frankie is thirteen and still an adventurer.
