Chris, unlike Frankie, is content with hanging out near home while eating grass or just soaking up the sun. Sure, sometimes he wanders off and needs to be watched but mostly he is just happy being outside. Here he is washing himself in the sunshine.

Sun puddles indoors are a favorite spot for grooming. Teddy is now going outside with US but I think we’re going to have to go the harness route because he’s just learning that there’s more to the outside world than the front porch!

Chris was a lot of trouble outside in his youth but he has mellowed a bit.
That is great that Chris behaves well outside. My human does not trust ANY of us off leash. And since we live in coyote country, she does not trust them either! Even though we have several ferals in the ‘hood who seem to have dodged them for years.
I suppose we are “lucky” that Chris has gained weight. 😀
We have animals, and people, around here that concern me so I like to keep Chris in sight.
